Your piece deserves a fresh start every time. Here's how to keep it clean, safe, and ready.

Regular Cleaning (Weekly or Bi-weekly):

1. Remove the bowl and downstem

2. Fill with 91%+ isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt

3. Plug the holes and shake gently

4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water

Deep Cleaning:

• Soak the bowl/downstem separately in alcohol overnight

• Use pipe cleaners or Q-tips for gunked corners

Do Not:

• Use boiling water on ceramic or glass (can crack from temp shock)

• Use scented or colored cleaners — they can stain porous surfaces

Pro Tip: For older or delicate thrifted pieces, test cleaning in a small area first to ensure there's no reaction.
